A Glimpse into Madison's Mind

Madison has definite opinions on everything right now. A friend of mine posted an interview with her almost three year old on Facebook, and I liked the idea of getting an insight into Madison's mind (at 10:24 on a Saturday - no promises that these favorites will hold) so I decided to copy it and post it here.
Madison was absolutely tickled to be asked so many questions about herself. The punctuation is reflective of her excitement.
It's fun to get into the mind of a toddler...I know that I'll be trying this again.

1. How old are you? 2! No, 3! In summer!

2. What’s your favorite color? I choose pink.

3. What’s your favorite toy? My tea set!

4 . What’s your favorite fruit? Oranges. Mom, I want to have oranges now.

5 . What’s your favorite TV show? Belle. Aaaand Tinkerbell. Aaaaand Rapunzel. Aaaaand Aurora. Mom, you put Aurora on my show. I'll sit in my chair.

6 . What’s your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Mom? Can we have mac and cheese?

7 . What’s your favorite outfit? Belle dress (she doesn't have a Belle dress. I don't know where that came from).

8 . What’s your favorite game? Candyland! Mom, we play Candyland?

9 . What’s your favorite snack? Cookies!

10 . What’s your favorite animal? Elephant!

11 . What’s your favorite song? A piano. Like my piano.

12 . What’s your favorite book? Animal book. (Old McDonald Had a Farm. She "reads" this book to Reagan).

13 . Who’s your best friend? Riley and Juliana and Belle and Erica. And Hunter! And Molly! Mommy, we see friends today?

14 . What’s your favorite thing to do outside? Water!

15. What’s your favorite drink? Green color water!

16 . What’s your favorite holiday? Ummm...I don't know. Christmas. Mom, we watch my Christmas movie?

17 . What do you like to take with you to bed at night? Teddy and Belle.

18 . What’s your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Pancakes. Aaand sausage. Aaaand syrup. Aaand a banana. Aaand a fork. Aaand a yellow plate. All together.

19 . What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Birthday cake!

20 . What do you want to be when you grow up? I grow like a garden.

So there we are, twenty questions that give just a bit of insight into Madison's mind.

What questions would YOU want to ask a toddler?  And no fair asking things like "why do you scream and throw a fit when I ask you what color lollipop you want"? The answer to that is obvious. Toddlers are crazy and want everyone else to join them.
