I'm one step away from being a crazy coupon lady. I love bargain shopping. When I come home from the grocery store, the first thing I do is tell Adam what my savings percentage was. I recently had to buy the girls some fancy dresses, and I walked out of Gymboree with a $30 receipt for $100 worth of dresses. I'm a big fan of saving.
Store saving, that is. Shopping saving. When it comes to saving on my bills, I get nervous. I hate making phone calls and most of the time I'm under the impression that bills are bills and there's not much that can be done. But now that more can be done online with research and comparison, and I feel confident finding savings everywhere.
A little while ago I wrote about saving on utility bills, and now I'm tackling auto insurance. We've been with the same company for quite a while, and we barely glance at the bill. This ended up biting us recently (a car we thought we'd removed from our policy was still active) and we realized we need to make sure we're on top of our savings.
How often do you review your policy to make sure you're getting the best deal?
